This month as we prepare to celebrate Christmas I can’t help but think about the gift that this fall has been, specifically our Saturday Skills Clinic and new opportunities in South Phoenix. As I reflect on this past fall and all that has taken place with TRUCE nothing but gratitude comes to mind.

This past Saturday we concluded our first ever Saturday Skills Clinic program. Throughout the 12 weeks of the program we served a total of 14 girls all of whom improved their basketball skills, grew in confidence, and bought in to our TRUCE culture.

This month I was privileged to spend time with the girls basketball team at Bernard Black Elementary School in South Phoenix. For years I’ve had a desire for TRUCE to have a presence in South Phoenix and that is now a reality. I’m excited to see what doors will continue to open at Bernard Black and in South Phoenix.

END OF YEAR GIVING…

TRUCE relies on the consistent financial support of individuals who enable us to come alongside girls and their families. Our TRUCE partners help to support programs like our Saturday Skills Clinic and Bernard Black partnership. Please consider giving a (tax-deductible) end of the year donation as we wrap up the year 2023. You can donate by clicking here.

THANK YOU!!!

Thank you for your support this year in the mission and work of TRUCE Basketball. TRUCE can’t do what it does and won’t be all that it was founded to do without the support of generous and compassionate individuals like yourself. Again, thank you!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
