TRUCE Basketball Academy is a 501c3 nonprofit that focuses on developing leaders and impacting generations through the game of basketball. Our three values, Family, Leadership, and Opportunities drive everything we do on and off the court. As an organization, from directors to coaches to players to family members, we value, respect, uplift and root for one another. At TRUCE we develop holistic leaders that make an impact on the court, in the classroom, in their relationships, and wherever they go. Lastly, we take advantage of opportunities that are present to be the players and humans we were created to be.

We provide opportunities for girls to grow as holistic leaders on and off the court.

Our Why

Quality, competitive basketball provides children opportunities to grow both on and off the court. At TRUCE we realize that quality and competition cost! TRUCE Basketball is for girls (and their families) that want to be a part of a high caliber girls basketball organization but may not have the resources to do so. TRUCE Basketball develops holistic leaders on and off the court without bringing financial stresses and worries to families. No girl or family should have to say no to quality, competitive basketball because of a lack of resources!

At TRUCE Basketball Academy we will compete and strive for greatness, and at the same time we care more about people than wins on the court. With our culture of truth and grace we develop leaders by providing teaching and correcting in a way that empowers players. As we care and develop basketball players we do the same for the human being that will one day move on from the game.

Meet Our Founder & Executive Director

Gabrielle “Gabby” Clark is the Founder and CEO of TRUCE Basketball Academy, a 501c3 nonprofit that focuses on developing leaders and impacting generations through the game of basketball. Driven by her passions for the game of basketball and for young and youth girls, Gabrielle is more than excited to develop holistic leaders through the game of basketball.

With over 16 years of playing competitive basketball and over 16 years experience working with children and youth Gabrielle brings a dynamic aspect and perspective to the world of girls basketball. Gabrielle ended her competitive playing career at San Diego State University where she was a 3-time team co-captain and a member of 2013 MWC All-Defensive Team. She graduated with a major in Sociology and a minor in Child & Family Development. Gabrielle is passionate about building TRUCE to be a program that competes with the best nationally and at the same time she cares way more about developing girls that will be holistic leaders on but especially off the court.
